Château PAVIE MACQUIN 1967
Château Pavie Macquin is located in Saint-Emilion, on the Right Bank of Bordeaux. It is classified Premier Grand Cru Classé B. Originally, Château Pavie Macquin was part of the estate of the 19th-century négociant Ferdinand Bouffard. It was bought by Albert Macquin, who achieved individual acclaim as a pioneer in the use of grafted roots stocks to combat the phylloxera epidemic. The current owners of the château are his grandchildren and great-grandchildren, the Corre and Charpentier families. Pavie Macquin now borders two other Pavie estates, Château Pavie and Château Pavie-Decesse, which are both owned by Gérard Perse.
