Chateau MEYNEY 2012
Château Meyney is located in the commune of Saint-Estèphe , in the Bordeaux wine region. Established as an ecclesiastical vineyard in 1662, it is one of the oldest estates in the Médoc, even if its modern history begins in 1917 when it was acquired by the Cordier family. The estate was bought in 2004 by Crédit Agricole Grands Crus . The optimization plan for the entire vineyard initiated during the takeover is now carried out by Anne Le Naour , Technical Director of the estate, assisted by the advice of oenologist Hubert de Bouärd .
Château Meyney is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot . The wine is aged for 18 to 24 months depending on the vintage in oak barrels, 40% of which are new. 2012 is considered a good vintage in Bordeaux.
