Chateau MEJEAN - Graves Red 2019
Château Peyrat is located in the town of Cérons, a stone's throw from the Sauternes vineyard, in the Bordeaux wine region. In 2014, Aurélien Dulor, Ludovic and Damien Martial came together around a common dream: to operate a wine estate, preferably in AOC Graves. Backed by their shared experience of 15 years in the wine industry, they find in Château Peyrat the ideal environment to enhance and develop a vineyard. They set up the project to bring together passionate investors, attached to the Bordeaux wine heritage, in the form of a Groupement Foncier Viticole. A group of 27 associates sharing this dream was then brought together. The 17-hectare vineyard is all in one piece and benefits from a microclimate due to the proximity of the Garonne.
Château Méjean has 6 hectares of vines, composed of Merlot (80%) and Cabernet (20%) grown on a soil of gravel, clay and silica. The aging lasts from 12 to 18 months , in new barrels, one-wine barrels and stainless steel vats .
Grapes: 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet
