A true benchmark for wines in Spain, the worldwide reputation of Vega Sicilia wines is well established. And yet, the talent and the quality of its wines continue to dazzle!

Proof of this is with Unico 2005. True banner of Maison Vega Sicilia, Unico 2005 comes from a rigorous selection of 40 plots bordered by the Duero river, representing the best terroirs. Unique, this exceptional wine from Ribera del Duero is indeed. No less than 10 years will have passed between its aging time, carried out in French and American oak barrels, in casks and in bottles. The result ? The perfection of a dominant blend of Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon which has had time to mix with beauty.

Unmistakably styled, Unico 2005 captivates with its superb maturity. The aromatic opulence reveals the beautiful fruity expression of Tempranillo, on notes of cassis and black fruits followed by the melted gluttony of chocolate. Powerful and incredibly round, the palate is thrilled by the silky and velvety elegance of the tannins, completed by the length of a very beautiful finish.

Maison Vega Sicilia takes care to only offer enthusiasts the great wines that it considers ready to be tasted. Although ready to be enjoyed immediately, Unico 2005 has an extraordinary aging potential, between 40 to 60 years for more patients.
