Château LAVILLE HAUT-BRION (Château Mission Haut Brion blanc) 1968 Pessac-Léognan
Château LAVILLE HAUT-BRION (Château Mission Haut Brion white) 1968
Laville is regularly the most bewitching of the white wines produced in Bordeaux, thanks in particular to a particularity which is also the signature of its wines: while the vast majority of the Pessac-Léognan estates rely on sauvignon, Laville has long been doing the choice of semillon. This considerably favors the wine with aging, due to an extra fat and body, but also to the deep bouquet of acacia honey provided by this grape variety, which is also very unproductive if you plant its most noble clones. . This choice is easily approved as soon as you taste an old local bottle.
