Château Poujeaux has roots going back to the 16th century, when it was then an outbuilding of Château Latour. Today, it is a 68-hectare castle in one piece with a remarkable terroir.

The 1996 vintage is one of the best of Château Poujeaux. A very fruity wine on ripe grapes, powerful and intense on the palate. It has not lost any of its splendor despite the years and will still be enjoyed with delight for several years.
