Domaine Roulot - Pear Eau de Vie In the heart of the village of Meursault, Jean-Marc Roulot and his sister Michèle have taken over the family estate. He is known to all as one of the greatest Burgundy winemakers. The wines are all sourced from different terroirs and vinified separately to best express the precision and character of the soils. He takes the same care with his eaux de vie "La Poire du Roulot", "La Framboise du Roulot" and his liqueur "L'Abricot du Roulot". Domaine Roulot's pear eau-de-vie is made from fruit harvested in Orches, in the Hautes Côtes de Beaune, Burgundy, where this legendary wine estate has been established since the 18th century. The pears are carefully sorted and selected to then produce this eau de vie. Almost 14kg of pears are needed to make this eau de vie! A precise, rich, powerful and at the same time delicate expression, it is a real pleasure to end a meal on such a beautiful note.

Domaine Roulot - Eau de Vie de Poire

Domaine Roulot is located in Meursault, on the Côte de Beaune in Burgundy. Owned by Jean-Marc Roulot and his sister, Michèle Javouhey Roulot, the estate produces wines as well as eaux-de-vie and fruit liqueurs. The distillation activity began in the middle of the 19th century: the copper still which is used in distillation today belonged to the grandfather and then father of Jean-Marc Roulot, who were then "traveling distillers". The tradition of distillation in the Roulot family, originally, was oriented around the marc de Bourgogne. Today, the range consists of two eaux-de-vie and a liqueur. The estate has been certified in organic farming since 2013, with non-certified biodynamic practices.

The Pear eau-de-vie is made from fermented Yellow Williams Pears, then distilled just once. The eau-de-vie is transferred to a carboy for aging of at least 5 years and up to 8 years.
