Caring producer, sensitive to biodynamics, Jean-Louis Trapet will have signed the development of the family estate. If the recent succession which affected the domain gave part of the vines to the Rossignol cousins, Jean-Louis Trapet still cultivates three Grands Crus and two Premiers Crus. As for the style of its wines, they bring Burgundy to the top. As an idealist convinced of biodynamics, he leads with his Alsatian wife Andrée a vineyard that he likes to call alive. The couple's sense of hospitality invites visiting and distinguished guests to their table. Here the wine speaks to express all its nobility.

Known and renowned for the finesse and delicacy of its rosés, today it rediscovers its tradition of terroirs with great red wines, which has always made its reputation.

"Our choice fell on the very well-located climate of Grasses Têtes, a flagship terroir of Marsannay. The grapes that come from it always amaze us with their substance and their richness. A little later, we take an option on the Grand plot. Poirier, some vines of which are over fifty years old. Like our Gevrey-Chambertins, our Marsannays are most often the fruit of blending in the vat of grapes from all of the plots described. We believe, in fact, that all these grapes brought together in the same vat can only enrich each other with their nuances and subtleties. But we would not like to end our description without speaking of our last passion: a small plot of Chardonnay, whose first harvest in 1993, already enchants our taste buds. "
