Château PONTET FUMET 1996

The Bardet vineyards are located in the Saint-Emilion Grand Cru and Côtes de Castillon appellations.

Today representing 40 hectares of vines in Saint-Emilion grand cru and 15 hectares in Côtes de Castillon, the Bardet vineyards are divided into more than 100 different plots offering a remarkable diversity of soils (limestone, gravels, sands, clays, molasses), exposures and micro-climates. Such dispersion in space reduces the risk of hail, frost or parasitic invasions and offers our wines a wide range of flavors and aromas.

Important, precise and rigorous work is carried out to separately harvest the different terroirs and grape varieties, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc.
