Family property of less than 15 hectares, Domaine la Barroche is a true capsule collection on the scale of Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The diversity of the soils, the richness of the grape varieties and hundred-year-old vines make the vineyard unique, which extends mainly to the north and northeast of the appellation.

The winegrower's know-how takes on its full meaning on the estate: the majority of Grenache vines were planted in the 1900s and are pampered generation after generation. These vines are rich in more than a century of history and have participated in several legendary vintages. Even today, actions are repeated to preserve this heritage and pass it on to future generations.

 PURE:

This cuvée tells us a great story, that of a terroir and a grape variety, but also of a hundred years of patience to work tirelessly, persevering during crises such as wars to go through better years. The hundred-year-old Grenache are deeply rooted in this legendary plot, land of sand and red sandstone in Comtat, which is unlike any other.

With a singular, pure personality, this wine with the eponymous name embodies many other qualifiers: airy, authentic, crystalline, delicate, elegant, fine, fresh, natural, floral, true, silky, smooth… absolute.
