Located in Léognan, capital of the Graves, the Domaine de Chevalier is of very ancient origin. In 1983, this Grand Cru Classé in the Pessac-Léognan appellation was acquired by the Bernard family, the French leader in the brandy market and an important merchant in great Bordeaux wine. It has been managed since then by Olivier Bernard. This tireless builder has for 30 years prepared the estate for the challenges of this new century, but likes to remind people that "Man is only a revealer, the terroir dominates everything ..."
The Domaine de Chevalier rouge, flagship product of the Pessac Léognan appellation, belongs to the elite of the Grands Crus Classés of Bordeaux. The Domaine de Chevalier blanc, which has the characteristic of being a remarkable wine for aging, is recognized as one of the greatest dry white wines in the world.
