Julien Altaber - SEXTANT Rouge 2018

Julien Altaber, born in Auvergne, grew up in the Mâconnais in the south of Burgundy. He naturally goes to viticulture at the age of 16 and continues his training in a big trading house in Beaune. In 2002, he harvests alongside Dominique Derain in Saint-Aubin, which will finally push him in 2007 to buy his first Pinot Noir grapes. Without any equipment, he uses Dominique's infrastructure to make his first vintage. In 2015, and after a phase of equipment and acquisition, he owns half a hectare of vines.

All grapes come from vineyards grown without weed killers or synthetic products. All the wines are vinified and matured without sulfites with very little intervention.
