Domaine de Vaccelli - Chioso Novo Blanc - Magnum 2018

Domaine de Vaccelli is located in Cognocoli-Monticchi, Corsica. The family estate was purchased in the 1960s by the Courrèges family, after Algeria’s independence. Its owner, Gérard Courrèges (son of Alain Courrèges) has been producing wines under the AOC Ajaccio, Vin de Pays de l’Île de Beauté but also Vin de France wines since the 1970s. Today, the vineyard covers 27 hectares planted with many varieties including much of the indigenous varieties of Corsica. The vineyard is run in certified organic farming.

The cuvée Chioso Novo Blanc is made from grafted Vermentinu. The wine is aged in barrels and demi-muids. Chioso Novo has a 6-to-8-year aging potential.
