Château ANDRON-BLANQUET 2016
Les Domaines Audoy is located in the Saint-Estèphe appellation in Bordeaux. They include Château Cos Labory and Château Andron Blanquet. The Château takes its name from its geographical location on the hill of Cos and from the name of François Labory, owner until 1845. Monsieur d'Estournel will then acquire it before reselling it to an English banker, Charles Martyns in 1852. It was finally George Weber who bought the property in the 1930s, before bequeathing it to his daughter and son-in-law, François Audoy in 1959. In 1971, the couple also acquired the neighbouring vineyard, Château Andron Blanquet.
Château Andron Blanquet is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (60%), Merlot (25%) and Cabernet Franc (15%). The vinification is carried out in stainless steel and concrete vats then the wine is aged in oak barrels, 30% of which are new.
