Château TRONQUOY-LALANDE 2017
Château Tronquoy-Lalande is located in the Saint-Estèphe appellation of the Bordeaux wine region. The origins of the estate date back to the 18th century and had several different owners until 2006, when it was acquired by Martin and Olivier Bouygues.
The 2017 is a blend of Merlot (55%), Cabernet Sauvignon (37%), Petit Verdot (6%) and Cabernet Franc (2%). The vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks, whose complex temperature control systems are powered by geothermal energy. Solar and wind energy are also used in the cellar. The wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels, with 25% new oak.
