The Domaine aux Moines is located in Savennières , in Anjou in the Loire Valley. Since 1981, it has belonged to Monique Laroche and her daughter Tessa . The estate has been conducted in certified organic farming since 2006 and is oriented towards biodynamics. The 12-hectare vineyard is located in the locality of La Roche aux Moines, enclosed in the Savennières vineyard, and benefits from a particular micro-climate.

Savennières-Roche aux Moines is made from Chenin Blanc vines around 45 years old, grown on 10 hectares. The vinification is carried out in barrels and tuns for 12 months . The batches are assembled and left to rest for an additional 6 months .
