Originally from Panama, Ron Abuelo has established himself as a leading name in traditional rums. The house offers a unique collection called Finish Collection , in which its long-aged rums are refined in barrels that have contained prestigious wines or spirits. The XV Tawny Port Finish edition perfectly illustrates this expertise, combining the rich character of Panamanian rum with the fruity sweetness of Port.

Aged for 15 years in American oak barrels , this rum is then finished in Tawny Port barrels . This refinement brings additional depth and complexity to the aromatic profile, enriching the woody structure of the rum with fruity and gourmet nuances. The result: a subtle balance between power, elegance and roundness.

Its deep mahogany color with ruby highlights heralds great intensity. The nose seduces with aromas of ripe red fruits, cherry, fig, and berries, supported by woody, caramelized, and lightly roasted notes. On the palate, the texture is rich and velvety, unfolding flavors of candied fruits, cocoa, and honey, enhanced by a touch of licorice. The finish is long, persistent, elegantly oaky, and marked by a fruity signature typical of Port.
