Domaine HUET - Le Haut Lieu - Dry 2017

 This 9 hectare vineyard, located on the upper part of the Vouvrillon plateau, was the first acquired by the Huet family, in 1928. If the subsoil is of course limestone, the soil here is quite deep and almost exclusively clayey. The latter contributes to giving this cru substance and depth.

From the first nose, we perceive the complexity of the wine which associates the floral, the mineral and very delicious fruity and exotic notes: lilac, rose, jasmine, ripe citrus fruits, white fruits, pineapple, smoky notes… it's a farandole! We discover in the mouth the density of ripe and juicy fruit. The wine then reveals a fabulous complexity, all at the same time smoky, fruity, always lively but nevertheless sensual, even creamy on the finish.
