RULLY BLANC LES SAINT JACQUES DOMAINE DE VILLAINE 2017

Born on a soil predominantly of clay and limestone, these young Chardonnays planted in 1995 gave a wine intensely aromatic around fresh fruits (apricot, vine peach) mixed with floral notes and warm spices. The palate appears ample, round and supple, stimulated by a beautiful minerality.

Aubert De Villaine (co-manager of the famous Romanée-Conti) created this domain in Côte Chalonnaise on this AOC Bouzeron. In 1973. Pierre De Benoist, his nephew, took it over in 2003.
