Selected by the captain of the schooner Tres Hombres in the Solera centenary of Pedro Ramon Oliver in the Dominican Republic, this rum "Brut of barrel" bottled in Saint Etienne is the unique expression of a liquor of high quality, all the caribbean are concentrated in this distillate of pure molasses, cane juice from which a large part of the sugar has been removed.

Aging in Solera under a tropical climate in old Bourbon barrels made of North American white oak, gives it smokiness and roundness typical of the big "Ron" of the Cuban School.

Since his departure from the Islands, he is rocked by the waves aboard the one and only sailing ship across the Atlantic WITHOUT MOTOR, Brigantine Tres Hombres flying the flag of the Republic of Vanuatu.

Follow 2 months at sea, rolled in barrels of "white Loire" in French oak, because only the barrels make the round trip, the wine will be drunk in the West Indies and Bourbon barrels will continue to raise rum for us of many years in the Solera. This traditional transport method allows a natural refining of the rum by orienting the end of the aging on round and sweet notes of the white wine.

Old Rum is "Brut de Fût" 50cl at 62.9% vol, ie not reduced. "In moderation" then makes sense. A real rum tasting to turn in the mouth in a small sip.

Label stuck to old-fashioned milk and bottles sealed with beeswax from Saint Genest Lerpt (42).
