CLOS DE CHILLON

This Grand Cru, aged and bottled at the château by Maison Henri BADOUX SA - VINS, reflects the values of the Fondation du Château de Chillon, which operates the monument: tradition, prestige and quality.

"Grand cru (GC) - AOC Lavaux": This term is reserved for wines with a mention of place of production or municipality and resulting at least 90% from grapes harvested at the place of production or the municipality, and 10% at most of grapes coming from another place of production in the same wine-growing region; these wines must in particular come from harvests with a natural sugar content that is 5 degrees Oechslé higher than the minimums specified in the AOC. Which is 70 ° Oe for the Chasselas (white) and 80 ° Oe for the red of Chillon.

Located in the “Lavaux” appellation area, this 12,500 m2 vineyard spreads out voluptuously along the shore of Lake Geneva where it benefits from the Montreux microclimate.

The winemaker who is responsible for it takes care of it in accordance with the rules of the art and respect for the environment, namely in integrated production.
