Château LA BRIDANE 2014
Château La Bridane, also known as Château Moulin de la Bridane, is located in the Saint-Julien appellation in Bordeaux. It takes its name from Father Bridane, who, at the end of the Ancien Régime, was parish priest of Saint-Laurent-du-Médoc while operating a mill (“moulin”) in Reignac, which then became Saint-Julien. This family property now belongs to Bruno Saintout. The 15-hectares vineyard is entirely planted with red grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Petit Verdot.
Château La Bridane is a classic Bordeaux blend, aged in oak barrels for 12 to 16 months. The 2014 vintage is a good vintage for the red wines of Saint-Julien.
