Château GLORIA 2013
Château Gloria is located in Saint-Julien, in the region of Bordeaux. It belongs to Domaines Henri Martin and is relatively young by Bordeaux standards as it was established in 1942 from the acquisition of parcels, the majority of which were classified as “Grands Crus” in 1855. Today, the vineyard spreads over 50 hectares, the owners are concerned about caring for the environment and have been awarded a level 3 High Environmental Value certification (HEV 3) and the ISO 14001 certification. In 2008, part of the vinification cellar was restructured, with the arrival of a new fermenting room incorporating every form of technological innovation and progress.
Château Gloria is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (65%), Merlot (25%), Cabernet Franc (5%) and Petit Verdot (5%). The vinification is traditional and carried out in stainless steel tanks. The wine is aged for 14 months in casks, 40% of which are renewed on average.
