Château D'ARMAILHAC 1990
Chateau D'Armailhac is located in Pauillac, in the Bordeaux wine region. It was classified Fifth Growth in the 1855 classification. The estate was founded in 1750 under the name of Mouton d'Armailhac. It was bought by Baron Philippe de Rothschild from Mouton Rothschild in 1934. Its vast outbuildings house the wine-growing equipment of the two properties. Since 1956, it has undergone an unusually high number of name changes, reflecting its ties to its more prestigious neighbor, first becoming Mouton-Baron Philippe, then Mouton Baronne, and Mouton-Baronne-Philippe. It has been called Château d'Armailhac since 1989. The 70-hectare vineyard is located south of the village of Pouyalet, just next to Mouton Rothschild and near Pontet-Canet.
Château D'Armailhac 1990 is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (47%), Cabernet Franc (28%) and Merlot (25%).
