CHARTREUSE - Green - 2025 release - 55%
A true icon of French liqueurs, Chartreuse Verte has been produced since the 17th century by the Carthusian Fathers using a secret recipe combining 130 plants, flowers, roots and spices . Produced exclusively in the cellars of Voiron and then Entre-Deux-Guiers, it remains a model of authenticity and mystery, its production being known only to two monks at a time.
Bottled at 55% , Chartreuse Verte is the most powerful and aromatic expression of the range. The 2025 vintage continues the tradition while offering remarkable intensity. More lively and herbaceous than its Yellow sister, it seduces with its depth, freshness and aromatic richness. It is the very soul of Chartreuse, acclaimed as much by lovers of rare spirits as by mixologists the world over.
Its intense emerald green color is immediately captivating. The nose reveals a complex aromatic explosion dominated by fresh herbs, mint, anise, and spices, blended with floral and resinous touches. On the palate, the texture is ample and powerful: vegetal freshness combines with spicy and slightly sweet notes, balanced by a persistent length. The warm, minty finish embodies all the strength and uniqueness of Chartreuse Verte.
