The color is very deep, with garnet red reflections.
An impression of complexity invades the first nose, on rather woody notes but without excess. Notes of chocolate and liquorice appear when stirred and mark the fruit's great maturity.
The attack on the palate is dense and tight, almost caressing. Then, the wine rises in power, without attacking, with fresh fruity flavors. The finish is long with chocolate and mocha notes. This Mission Haut-Brion 2015 is undoubtedly one of the property's great vintages.
