Château TROPLONG MONDOT 1992
In the 18th century, the vineyard belonged to Father Raymond de Sèze, who built the current castle in 1745. Under his direction, Château Troplong Mondot takes its place among the best wines of Saint-Emilion. It obtained the rank of 1st Grand Cru Classé of Saint-Emilion in 2006. This 43-hectare estate benefits from ideal exposure and geological conditions.
Today, the estate is managed by Aymeric de Gironde (SCOR company). The culture is sustainable and the grape varieties planted are Merlot with smaller proportions of Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon. The average age of the vines is 20 years.
