OLD BROTHERS - FWI - Batch 2 - Foursquare West Indies - 47.1%
The history of Old Brothers dates back to 2004, when the friendship between Anthony Martins and Julien Leroux began when they met in the Army and the many missions around the world they carried out together. Anthony Martins graduated from the Paris wine school and, having obtained a wine sommelier diploma, he created “La Source”, a shop specialising in spirits, in Toulouse in December 2015. Quickly, the idea to open an independent bottling company is set up and the structure opens in November 2016. They travel through the distilleries of the world and bring back the best expressions of distillation. The Old Brothers bottles are numbered by hand, the vegetable cord which adorns the neck is placed by Anthony and Julien. The label is held by a ribbon, sealed with a wax seal bearing the logo of a compass that represents their travels around the world for years.
FWI Batch 2 is an acronym referring to Foursquare and West Indies. Foursquare is a distillery located in Barbados, West Indies is owned by Maison Ferrand (Plantation).
