SEVERIN - Rhum Blanc - Version 1 Litre - 50%
The Séverin Distillery is located at the foot of the North Basse-Terre mountain in Guadeloupe. It was founded in 1928 by Henri Marsolle. The Domaine de Séverin distillery was part of a "sugar house", formerly consisting of a sugar refinery, the main house, workers' huts, sugar cane fields and gardens. Until 2008, it was the last distillery to use a paddle wheel, fed by water from the mountain, to power the grinding mills. Since 2014, the Pirbakas group has owned the distillery. In 2019, the Séverin Distillery was expelled from the estate and was forced to transfer its bottling line and its stocks to another site, still in the town of Sainte-Rose.
