Château TOUR DU ROCH MILON 2018
Château Tour du Roch-Milon is located in Pauillac in the Médoc wine region of Bordeaux. It is owned by SCEA Domaines Peyronie. The origins of this Cru date back to the 18th century. It will be mentioned for the first time in the Féret of 1929 in which the position of the vineyard is indicated. In 1932, the Chambers of Commerce of Bordeaux and of Agriculture of the Gironde classified it as a Cru Bourgeois. In the 1940s, Robert Peyronie (the father of the current owner) bought the Château Tour du Roch-Milon which would appear in the Guide des Grands Vins de Bordeaux in 1945 as part of the vineyards of the Peyronie family. The vineyard is quite fragmented, in the middle of Grands Crus Classés such as Mouton Rothschild, Latour and Lynch Bages. The area is around 5 hectares, the average age of the vines is 50 to 60 years.
