Domaine Duroché - Gevrey-Chambertin 2019
Domaine Duroché is located in Gevrey-Chambertin , in Burgundy . It has been a family estate for 5 generations with the first bottlings made from the 1933 vintage. Gilles and Pierre Duroché today take care of the property. Following successive purchases of plots from fathers to sons, they now operate 8.5 hectares in the Burgundy, Gevrey-Chambertin, Gevrey-Chambertin 1er Cru and Grands Crus appellations, including the prestigious Chambertin Clos de Bèze.
Gevrey-Chambertin Village comes from a blend of different terroirs: Reniard, Pressonier, Le Fourneau, Les Murots, Aux Etelois, Aux Corvées, Les Champs-Perriers, Les Croisettes and En Champs. The vines were planted between 1934 and 1980. During vinification, extractions are moderate and aging varies from 13 to 15 months without racking. Bottling is carried out after the barrels of each vintage are assembled in vats.
