Domaine Denizot is located in Verdigny, a town bordering Sancerre in the Loire Valley. It is owned by Jennifer and Thibauld Denizot , representing the sixth generation of the family to run this estate. The vineyard extends over 20.5 hectares spread between two renowned appellations: Sancerre and Pouilly-Fumé. Most of the terroir is made up of caillottes, while the rest is made up of white earth. The vineyard is managed using sustainable agriculture , with little intervention in the cellar.
Osmoze is made from Sauvignon Blanc from the villages of Amigny, Chavignol, Sancerre and Verdigny. After manual harvesting, the harvest is put into direct pressing and fermentation occurs with neutral yeasts selected in concrete and stainless steel vats . The wine is aged for approximately 12 months on fine lees .
