Château Corconnac 2018
Château Corconnac is located in Saint-Laurent-Médoc, in the Haut-Médoc of Bordeaux . The property was purchased by Fabienne and Philippe Pairault , originally from Paris. At the time, Philippe, a graduate in architecture, managed a communications agency. Fabienne was a journalist and lawyer but managed communications for a major German brand in the automotive sector. In addition to their professional activities, the couple is interested in wine. When they took over Château Teynac in Saint-Julien, the property only had 4.5 hectares compared to 12.5 hectares today. At the same time, they visited Château Corconnac and the two acquisitions were made in 1990. Thirty years later, their daughter Eléonore joined them. Ecological awareness is the key to the family, which has been involved in the SME approach since 2015 - this collective environmental approach has allowed them to obtain double certification (ISO 14001 and HVE from the 2016 vintage).
The Cru Bourgeois of Château Corconnac is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot . The wine is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels .
