Domaine Loew - Riesling - Clos des Frères 2012
Domaine Loew is located in Westhoffen, Alsace . Heir to a family present in Westhoffen since the 18th century, Etienne Loew took over the winemaking tradition of his ancestors in 1996 with his wife Caroline. The vineyard, managed in certified biodynamics , is worked with respect for the terroir in order to highlight the geological and climatic characteristics according to each grape variety.
The Cuvée "Clos des Frères" is a Bruderbach Riesling from a clos with all the characteristics of a great terroir, facing south. The harvest is manual and fermentation begins spontaneously with indigenous yeasts. The wine is aged on lees until summer. This wine is dry (1.4 g/L of residual sugars).
