The 2022 Inspirations vintage embodies this philosophy. The vintage, marked by beautiful sunshine, produced grapes at ideal maturity, resulting in a balanced, aromatic, and very clear wine. With its freshness and mineral tension, this vintage perfectly illustrates the potential of Chenin Blanc and the elegance of Vouvray wines. Upon tasting, the 2022 Vouvray Inspirations presents itself in a pale yellow color with brilliant reflections. The nose expresses seductive aromas of white flowers, quince, and fresh pear. On the palate, the attack is lively and elegant, supported by a precise acidity that highlights the lusciousness of the fruit. The finish, long and mineral, reveals delicate notes of citrus and a hint of light honey. A true gastronomic wine, it will ideally accompany fine fish, poultry in creamy sauce or even goat cheeses from the Loire. Located in the heart of the Loire Valley, Domaine de la Pierre Gravée is passionately dedicated to cultivating the emblematic grape of the Vouvray appellation: Chenin Blanc. On soils of tuffeau and calcareous clay, the estate seeks to express the richness of this unique terroir through precise, elegant cuvées that embody the Loire’s identity.

The Inspirations 2022 cuvée highlights the freshness and purity of Chenin. The 2022 vintage, marked by generous sunshine, produced perfectly ripe grapes that delivered balanced, aromatic wines of great clarity. This cuvée is distinguished by its mineral tension, liveliness, and clean aromatic expression—a faithful reflection of the Vouvray appellation.

Its pale-yellow robe with bright reflections precedes an expressive nose of white flowers, quince, and fresh pear. On the palate, the attack is lively and elegant, supported by fine acidity that enhances the fruit’s generosity. The long, mineral finish reveals delicate notes of citrus and light honey. A refined wine, both fresh and structured, ideal with fine fish, creamy poultry dishes, or local Loire goat cheeses.
