Mas du Chêne - Sangiovese - Organic 2016

Luc Vignal is an independent, original and passionate winegrower. First an artistic ironworker, after a few injuries he began studying viticulture and oenology and became a wine merchant in Lille then in Montpellier. Since 2009, he is now a winegrower since he took over, with his wife Emmanuelle Delon, the latter's family estate.

Luc develops wines with the aim of resembling as much as possible the beverages consumed by the ancients characterized by low extractions, by getting closer to their traditional cultivation method, particularly with regard to working the soil and the vines. Today 10 ha are cultivated organically, without certification, and make up the different cuvées of Mas du Chêne.

Made up mainly of Grenache, Carignan and Syrah, you can also find Merlot, Alicante, Pinot Noir and even Sangiovese! It must be said that Luc is not a conventional winegrower. There is no limit to his sense of experimentation and it is for this reason that he has planted grape varieties that are not usually found in the region… for our greatest pleasure!

The result is wines in its image: original, authentic, true and delicious! With Luc, you never get bored ... with his wines either!
