Beautiful 18th century residence surrounded by a 6-hectare park populated by centuries-old trees and 17 hectares of vines, Château Martinet has long been a hunting lodge before becoming a wine-growing operation producing one of the most renowned vintages of Saint-Emilion.
Planted on a sandy-gravelly soil of remarkable quality, the vines are the subject of constant attention by the owners.
The result of meticulous and rigorous teamwork, the wines of Château Martinet reveal an exceptional character.
The harvest is carried out by hand, as is the sorting on the table. The grapes are then placed in small thermoregulated vats, in order to better respect the particularities of the vineyard and to extend the vineyard management to the plot in the cellar. Aging then takes place in oak barrels for 16 to 18 months.
Regularly rewarded in international competitions, the wines of Château Martinet let exude subtle scents, with accents of red fruits.
