The first year, they market a few Glenlivet 1968 casks. They quickly stood out for their stocky bottles and their selection of emblematic malts: Balvenie 1966, Glen Grant 1964, Glenfarclas 1969, Highland Park 1966. Then came a remarkable Glendronach 1970 sherry. cask, a 1967 Ardbeg, 30 years old dark oloroso of anthology and many traffic jams from Port Ellen. They then become the benchmark trading house for many amateurs. Andrew and Brian Symington could have contented themselves with selecting their barrels and outsourcing the bottling. But wishing to control everything, they decided to invest in 1992 in a warehouse located not far from the port of Leith (north of Edinburgh) in which they, themselves, bottled the whiskeys in transit.
Since its launch, this range has undergone three major packaging changes. These single casks are now an exclusive carafe bottle. The non-exhaustive list below continues to evolve. It must be said that Signatory Vintage exports its single casks all over the world. Some barrels, barely bottled, are already exhausted.
