DOMAINE DES ACCOLES 'Chapelle' - Biodynamics 2015
Since 2011, Florence and Olivier Leriche have taken over 21 hectares in Ardèche. After studying together in Bordeaux and then Dijon, they will take care of the Domaine de l'Arlot, in Burgundy, for more than 10 years, a biodynamic domain. It is while spending time in Ardèche, that the love of the region pushes them to buy vines. The Domaine des Accoles is born.
The wines are fair, fresh and easy to digest and the different vintages offer a great range of aromas, at very low prices. We appreciate the quality of the juices, full of life. Today the estate is managed biodynamically in order to best express the Ardèche terroir.
Grenache, Carignan, Cabernet, Syrah, Couston, Auben, Cinsault and Aramon Blend made from old Grenache and Carignan vines. Cabernet and Syrah and some touches of more local grape varieties such as Couston and Auben. Notes of black fruits, violets and spices, supple and delicious tannins. A caress in the mouth.
Our expression of southern terroirs.
Appellation: Vin de France
The wine: 70% whole harvest. La Chapelle Saint-Julien (on the heights of Saint-Marcel d'Ardèche) gives its name to the cuvée and dominates the old vines (50 to 60 years old) of Grenache, Carignan, Couston ...
2015 is a juicy and fruity wine. Nice fullness in the mouth. Notes of peonies
At the tasting: Notes of fruit, flowers and spices. Round, generous and delicious wine.
