Le Clos des Grillons is located in Rocheford-du-Gard, in the southern Rhône Valley. The estate was created by Nicolas Renaud , a former history teacher, in 2007. A lifelong wine enthusiast, the idea of producing wine came to him in 2003 with the support of Eric Pfifferling of Domaine de l'Anglore. He then trained at Domaine de la Vieille Julienne in Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Today, he cultivates 14 hectares of biodynamic vines, certified organic .
Œillet Rouge(s) is made from Grenache Noir , planted in 1927, and vinified using carbonic maceration.
