Château RIPEAU 1953
Well located on the northwestern plateau of Saint-Émilion, between Pomerol and Saint-Émilion, Ripeau is a respectable estate that has belonged to the same family for nearly a century before its purchase in 2015 by the Gregoire family.
The acquisition of Château RIPEAU in January 2015 marked the beginning of a new impetus for the property. In the vineyard as in the cellar, everything is done to sublimate the exceptional potential of this terroir, worthy of the greatest. The metamorphosis is also accompanied by an ambitious project of complete renovation of the buildings and the modernization of the tools of work: the objective is to put the high technology at the service of the wines of Château RIPEAU in a total respect of its environment and its classified park; but also to create spaces of life and work, to receive and share.
This vintage 1953, one of the great vintage of the last century will make you appreciate the great wines of Saint Emilion after the war. A rare and exceptional bottle.
