Château CROS FIGEAC 1979
Château Cros Figeac is the largest cru in the Saint-Emilion appellation, located on the Figeac plateau whose terroir is made up of gravel and sand (unlike the clay-limestone soils typical of Saint-Emilion). Since 1998, Michel Querre exploites the 2.4 hectares of vines planted only in red: Merlot (75%) and Cabernet Franc (25%).
It was on the right bank, and more precisely in Saint-Emilion, that the 1979 vintage was particularly successful and the greatest wines of this vintage can still be kept until 2030.
