Version Française - Kornog 2007 - 57,7%
Version Française is a La Maison du Whisky négoce range, made up of French spirits. The aim is to favour short circuits and encourage local consumption.
Kornog is the peaty version of the Glann Ar Mor Distillery. The Glaan Ar Mor Distillery was founded in 2005 by Martine and Jean Donnay. It is fitted with a pair of small onion-shaped stills: a 1,100-litres wash still and a 650-litres spirit still. The two stills are heated with an open flame and the condensation takes place through long copper coils. The cellar is located a hundred meters from the sea. This Single Malt distilled in 2007 is aged in ex-Sauternes casks. It comes from a Single Cask which produced 243 bottles.
