Château BELGRAVE 1993
Château Belgrave is located in Saint-Laurent-Médoc, in the Haut-Médoc region of Bordeaux. It belongs to Vignobles Dourthe and was classified Fifth Grand Cru Classé in 1855, under the name of “Coutanceau”. The name “Bellegrave” appeared in 1845, when Bruno Devès, trader from Bordeaux, restructured the property, favouring the development of vines on the best gravel terroirs. He built outbuildings, cellars and vats, and had the current house built on the site of the old hunting lodge. Today, Château Belgrave is part of an environmental approach, with respect for nature, the land and people. Since the 2018 vintage, Château Belgrave has benefited from Terra Vitis and High Environmental Value certifications.
Château Belgrave is a predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon blend, with Merlot and Petit Verdot. The wine is aged for 12 to 14 months on fine lees, in barrels.
Grape varieties: Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot
