TEQUILA - OCHO - Añejo - El Nacimiento - Widow Jane Barrel Select - 48%
Tequila Ocho is made in Mexico . The brand was founded in 2008 by Carlos Camarena (a 5th-generation farmer and 3rd-generation Tequilero) and Tomas Estes, the man responsible for bringing tequila culture to Europe. Each bottle of Tequila Ocho showcases a unique terroir and is made from the Weber blue agave plant.
This tequila is a special collaboration between Tequila Ocho and the Widow Jane distillery in New York. It is made from Weber Blue Agave harvested exclusively at Rancho El Nacimiento and then aged for 12 months in Widow Jane's 600-liter bourbon barrels.
" A complex nose of warm caramel, bourbon vanilla, and dried fruit precedes a palate rich in roasted agave, sweet spices, and toasted wood. The long, warm finish combines pepper, oak, and a touch of black cherry. A tequila with character, perfect for single malt or premium bourbon lovers."
