Reimonenq - White Rum - Heart of Heating - 50%
The Reimonenq Distillery is located in Sainte Rose , Guadeloupe . In 1915, Joseph Reimonenq bought a former cocoa and medicinal plant plantation from Doctor Diavet and began clearing the land for the planting of sugar cane and the construction of the distillery, which was then made of wood. Joseph Reimonenq worked in banking and was also involved in negotiating the sale of rum to Metropolitan France and the administration of the distillery while Fernand Reimonenq took care of the land and the day-to-day management of the estate. André Bon joined forces with them and provided them with a steam engine and a mill. A few years later, he sold his shares and moved to Bordeaux where he traded sugar and rum. Upon Fernand's death, his son Léopold Reimonenq continued the adventure. However, in 1970, the distillery was destroyed by fire. It was rebuilt and began producing rum again in 1974.
Reimonenq Cœur de Chauffe is the result of a special distillation using a column patented by Léopold Reimonenq. It is ideal for ti' punches and cocktails.
" A lively and expressive rum, marked by a beautiful floral and vegetal intensity. The Cœur de Chauffe reveals aromas of fresh cane, lime and white pepper."
