Domaine Weinbach is located in Kaysersberg, Alsace . The estate was acquired in 1898 by the Faller brothers, who passed it on to their son and nephew, Théo Faller. In 1979, his wife Colette and his daughters Catherine and Laurence joined him. Since 2016, Catherine Faller has managed the property with her sons Eddy and Théo. The work of the soil, the vineyard, and the winemaking process are individually adapted to each grape variety, terroir, and microclimate combination in order to reflect the identity of each location. Since 2005, the 38-hectare vineyard has been managed using certified biodynamic methods .
The grapes are harvested at optimal ripeness, with rigorous selection. The juices are extracted by gentle and gradual pressing. Vinification is carried out with minimal intervention and long fermentations are carried out in old oak barrels, exclusively with indigenous yeasts.
Grape variety: 100% Riesling
