Domaine Louis Antoine LUYT - Closed Open - Pipeno Carrizal - Organic 2017

 Louis-Antoine Luyt, a Breton from the end of the world who settled down in Chile in 2006, presents Pipeño Carrizal, a wine made exclusively from the País grape variety, made from vines that are just under 250 years old. We are obviously free of foot. Carrizal is the name of the city from which the vines of this cuvée come, a city 1000 km north of Concepcion (Antoine's usual garden). Pipeño wines are made in the most traditional Chilean form, that is to say that the harvest is first crushed, then destemmed by hand on a "zaranda" (Chilean coligüe sieve (kind of bamboo)) , and finally vinified in a “lagar” (open tank). The juice is then kept in “pipas”, hence the name Pipeño. Louis-antoine made his classes in France at Lapierre and Pacalet, normal while his cuvées offer a lot of digestibility.
