Château Rocher Corbin - The Promises 2015

Created in 2005, Rocher Corbin's second wine comes from the youngest vines on the estate. A beautiful bright robe and a delicate nose of red fruits announce, in the mouth, a harmonious structure, of an exquisite freshness. It is a nice gourmet wine to share with friends.

With the Roman conquest that begins in the year 56 BC, the first vines are planted in the region of Saint-Emilion. The marriage of Eleanor of Aquitaine with King Henry II, in 1152, made Aquitaine under English rule. This period favors the growth of the vineyard. The Domaine de Rocher Corbin is a former farm of Château Corbin, feud of the lord of Corbin in the Middle Ages.

This property was acquired in the 1880s by Charles Durand. For four generations, Rocher Corbin has been passed from father to son, with the same passion for vines and wine.

Since 1986, Philippe Durand has been dedicated to the modernization of the property, with the greatest respect for the terroir, the environment, and the traditional practices of the vine culture. Its goal: to produce on this exceptional soil one of the greatest wines of the appellation.
