An exceptional cuvée benefiting from an oak barrel farm, this Chardonnay combines power, remarkable depth and length.

In 1999 Emmanuel Lassaigne took over the family farm of 4.5 hectares on the chalky hill of Montgueux, one of the very large terroirs of Champagne. The vineyard occupies a unique location a few kilometers from Troyes, the former capital of the region.

It seeks to produce whites of whites typified as close as possible to the taste of the grapes and the soil thanks to vinifications partially in barrels, low pressure when making foam, disgorging on the fly without icing, without the addition of sulfite or dosing liquor. Less chiseled and taut than the Chardonnays of the Côte des Blancs, these champagnes assert themselves in a more exotic, tasty and delicate profile.
